Book distribution drive on Ambedkar Jayanti

On Ambedkar Jayanti, MERF organised a two-day book distribution drive for school children in the outreach communities around Bettiah. The aim was simple: put books into the hands of children who don’t always have them, and pair the gesture with a conversation about why education matters.
Ambedkar’s life and legacy framed the conversation. Education, he insisted, was the most powerful weapon a person can use to change the world — and for children growing up in rural and peripheral districts, access to that weapon can’t be assumed. The drive was as much about the books as about the idea behind them.
