Two years after the first hypertension camp, MERF returned with a second round of screening and free BP apparatus distribution. The case for repetition is straightforward — hypertension doesn’t go away, new patients turn fifty every year, and the people who got an apparatus in 2022 often need refresher conversations as their numbers shift.

Healthcare in underserved communities is rarely a one-event problem. Sustained follow-up is what eventually moves the needle, and these camps are part of that long arc.
